Are Iran and North Korea exploiting the USA's diminished credibility to accuse other countries of making nukes?

We accused Iraq of trying to secretly build WMDs. They had none.





Now, Iran and North Korea might be well on the way to having nuclear weapons, and what are we supposed to do about it?





As well, we're over extended around the world militarily. So these nations know we cannot and will not do much about it if they are indeed building nuclear weapons.





So what do we do about these situations?|||I think they are exploiting our diminished ability to do anything about it. Our economy has tanked and we are stretched thin due current and future "commitments" in the middle east.


Iran is gambling that we cannot afford another conflict.


N. Korea is hoping that we will give them assistance to stop.|||Hey we are all wrong at times. Excuse us for being cautious. What if they did have them. We have evidence, don't we. We are all humans, so why do they expect us to be anything else. I'm a republican, so that might effect my views, but that is what I think|||We should had impeached Bush when we had the chance|||Iran and North Korea have been waiting on a spineless wimp to become President of the U.S. and now they have it. These recent events are only the begining|||#1) Saddam Hussein was in violation of 18 United Nation Security Council Resolutions.





#2) Many weapons were found in violation of these resolutions. Evidence was found that he retained every intention of reconstituting nuclear and biological weapons in the future. Since he was given the time before the incursion,many soldiers will tell you how they tracked shipments to the Syrian border where they could not cross. We may never know the whole story.

The answer is simple. These countries respect STRENGTH. The new ingredient is the new administration and its image of weakness and apologetic knee jerk sit down and talk about it reaction to these situations. NOT U.S. CREDIBILITY!!!
