What happens to all the funds raised when a candidate looses credibility?

If I remember, in Tennessee state races, the candidate can keep all the money. It may be taxed though. Kinda strange.|||Good question. Congress decided that any funds left in their personal 'campaign accounts' would be theirs when they left Congress. Which is why almost all of these crooks leave office as multi-millionaires.|||They spend it. Which means their pals get fat checks, they get a luxurious lifestyle and the rest will go into fake campaigns, like Sarah Palin's, which are designed to just sell books and television shows.|||he never had your support anyway, so it doesn't matter
