How much credibility is needed to get your approval of the PG rating in the WWE?

Note: Try to think out of the box on this one. Please give your opinions and your thoughts. Detailed answers are welcomed.





- [Truth Trials鈩|||It doesn't need to do anything. When you have amazing matches like Rey Mysterio vs CM Punk, its ignorant to label WWE 'awful' these days. You're a smart user, i think you agree here that their match at Armageddon was incredibly awesome, dont you think?





Wrestling has cycles. The Hogan Era was really kid friendly. Then they New Generation focused more on the wrestling aspect thus attracting more older viewers. And then they had the Attittude Era, which was the most shocking and had the least kid friendly viewpoint which pulled in a lot of older viewers and more casual fans. In another few years we'll start to see the 'E turn more towards the older demographic. Which will suck, because people will moan its not like the 'original attitude era'. It has nothing to do with John Cena, Jeff Hardy, or Triple H. They sell merchandise and even the 'E is struggling in the current economic climate. I see there being a change in the next few years.





Basically, what im trying to say is this. Who the hell cares if the programming is PG? Half of he PG-13 moves today contain, err more, questionable content in them, than actual R-rated Movies.





I feel people are just looking at the rating, not the actual product, and judging it from that. If something that you dont like happens in WWE, why the hell blame two letters of the alphabet (PG), which mean nothing? People need to stop complaning. They blame kids, but most of us were children when we started watching. If you dont like it, do not watch it. People have options outside mainstream TV for Wrestling at its best. ROH, TNA, NJPW, AAA, ect





Thats just how i feel about the rating.





Edit; Lmao. It just annoys me how people quickly dismiss matches like Rey vs Punk because of a stupid rating. It was Punks best match in WWE, yet it didn't get much praise.|||i don't get why wwe is pg it's a mature show so no kids that means cena go away because no one likes you|||dunno but top moaning ur creating a problem out of nothing|||The Pg Rating is having its good points and bad points.





The Good points are that the Wwe is still putting on incredible wrestling like Chris Jericho vs Cm Punk, Shawn Micaels vs Chris Jerico, Edge vs Undertaker. I think Shelton Benjerman is starting to get his big break. His matches with the Undertaker have made the Undertaker look relevant again. Plus were likely going to have a Shawn Michaels vs Undertaker match this year and a Hardy vs Hardy match at WM25.





The Bad points are the lack of blood in Gimmick matches, wrestlers not using their own words on the mic, and plus the big wrestlers that don't know how to move in the ring still haven't improved. I don't intend to watch a Midget every tuesday night.
