What would be a good credibility statement?

I have to write a paper on what career I want to go into. I really need some ideas to get me started on what I can use for a credibility statement. I don't have any interesting experiences with a career in programming, but anyways.. can you help me? :(|||Be sure to ask people you know, and put in any little detale, like if you were a musician, and you did a gig that was really small, put that in and stuff, because it says experience, and a teacher or somebody write a refrence or flattering paper.
