Will the Liberal Democrats lose all credibility if they ally with Labour?

Will the Liberal Democrats lose all credibility if they join up with the other losers of the election "the Labour Party" to make a power grab and run an unstable coalition government? Would it be right to have another unelected prime minister? Shouldn't they just allow the party that won the most seats to form government for the next 4 or 5 years and get over it?|||Absolutely.... i simply couldnt agree with you more . I find it rediculous - outrageous- obviously corrupt but most obvious of all .Who makes up these most Rediculous nonsenses in the 1st place .Conservatives havent just won by a little either !!.|||I think that Nick Clegg himself has done the damage by not being decisive. He's beginning to look like a damp squib. Think of your own job - if there's something urgent or need to meet a deadline - you work flat out to get it done. I distinctly remember on Saturday night, Cameron saying "There won't be any more news today, I'm spending the evening at home with my family". Puh.

All this business about elected - non- elected PMs. The bloke is only there to head up the policies of the party, does it really matter who it is? They don't make the decisions alone. This is why the cons and libs chose pretty boys.

It is the libs best bit - electoral reform that says that the party with the most seats shouldn't be in power but the ones with a majority vote - the cons got @40%.

I hope they don't just allow the cons to govern - because we won't just 'get over it'!|||Due to the fact that Nick Clegg has joined conservatives, who are already making cuts to scotland and wales, I WILL NEVER EVER VOTE LIBERAL DEMOCRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nick clegg has proven to be a man of no principles and has joined the enemy for the sake of power!!!!!!!!!! I wouldn't be surprised to find out that he has probably lost most of the support of his voters either!!! Many polls i have looked at actually show more support for a lib-lab government, too late now!!! IT WAS THE MEDIA THAT RUINED LABOUR!|||The electorate did not appear to be too enarmoured with the Lib Dems otherwise they would not have lost seats in this election.

The Conservatives have the most seats so let them try and form a government and just horsetrade to get legislation through in the future.

The way it is going you might as well have one big party where it is a complete free for all and see what happens.|||A coalition of losers stopping the party that won making the government ?- personally I think Labour should admit they lost this election and the Conservatives should be forming the government now.|||Yes they should. I hope that what is going on at the moment is a lesson to the electorate, because this is what will happen every election under the pure P.R system. The L.Bs are unfortunately putting their pursuit of P.R before the stability of the country, which is inexcusable.|||It would. Even most senior labour ministers are insisting labour do what is right for the country and team up with the tories.

The lib dems have just proven why they will never be in government in their own right, they cant make a decision!
